Sorry, it's too late to sign up for this event.
If you already signed up to attend the event, here are the event details:
Join us on this national day of action as thousands of people call on our Member of Congress to seal the deal and pass the biggest and boldest climate and care infrastructure bill in history. We can fund climate solutions, grow the care economy, fight inequality, and create green jobs.
We will have great speakers, music, ways to take action, and an exchange table where folks are encouraged to donate and take a small bag of fresh produce or a small houseplant. If all you can bring is yourself (and friends!?), that's wonderful, too.
- Julietta Market (we'll set up just inside open garage doors in the Greyline Building)
- 101 West Loudon Ave
- Lexington, KY 40508
- Thursday, August 19th
- 5:30 p.m.
- Lisa Abbott
- Public parking is off West Loudon Ave in the parking for Greyline Station. Walk up small set of steps to enter Greyline Station from this lot. Handicapped parking and an accessible entrance are available from the N. Limestone entrance to Greyline Station. (All others should use the West Loudon Ave lot.) Please wear a mask to protect yourself and others. Our speakers will set up near the open garage doors (facing North Limestone) of the Greyline building. This will provide good ventilation and space for social distancing. There are seven local food vendors inside the Julietta Market if you wish to support small, local businesses before and after the rally. See you there!
