Dear Member of Congress,

This process has gone on long enough. Congress must urgently deliver on the mandate that voters provided in last year’s elections to act on climate, care, jobs, and justice by passing the full Build Back Better jobs and infrastructure deal.

Our country faces multiple crises, and the full deal makes crucial, future-focused, job-creating investments to address them: investments in everything from clean energy and climate solutions to home and child care, to extending child tax credits, to universal pre-K, to adding health, vision, and dental coverage to Medicare. It is critical that we lock in these investments.

The deal is already a compromise and less than half of what those on the front lines have called for, and it doesn’t meet all of the need — but it does contain crucial and transformational investments that can help kickstart our work to make this the decade of the Green New Deal. Passing the full Build Back Better deal will set us on a path toward a vibrant economy where everyone thrives and create progress we can build on. Further cutting vital priorities or passing only some of the deal — of which all of the items included are wildly popular — would be a huge mistake.

Our planet and our communities cannot afford to wait any longer. We are calling on you to support the full Build Back Better deal.
